What does it take to fully realize the potential for agricultural biogas plants in Poland?
January 15
Poland has huge potential for biogas production, which is still untapped. Experts estimate that the country has about 13 billion cubic meters of biomass that could be used in methane processes. Despite this potential, Poland has only about 300 biogas plants in operation, less than half of which are agricultural. By comparison, Germany has more than 9,000 such facilities.

We cordially invite you to a panel discussion that will take place as part of the event AGRO-PREMIERS: AGRICULTURE 5.0.
During the panel, key issues related to the development of agricultural biogas plants will be discussed, including:
- Legal and financial barriers that limit investments in biogas plants in Poland,
- Technological and organizational opportunities that could accelerate the sector’s development,
- The role of the private and public sectors in realizing Poland’s energy potential.
The panel will feature:

- Bogusław Prałat – an agricultural entrepreneur who runs his own biogas plant and will share his practical experience,

- Adam Orzech – CEO of Grupa Naturalna Energia, an expert in sustainable development and renewable energy sources,

- Moderator: Dr. Andrzej Jan Lewicki from the Poznań University of Life Sciences, Institute of Biosystems Engineering.
The discussion will be an excellent opportunity to explore the issues and develop proposed solutions that could contribute to a more comprehensive use of available biomass resources in Poland.
We invite everyone interested in the future of renewable energy sources, agriculture, and sustainable development to participate in this important debate.
