Rifle Plant Breeding at Agro Premieres 2025!

Hodowla Roślin Strzelce is a brand that has been setting standards in the seed industry for years. The company’s success is based on a unique combination of traditional breeding methods and modern laboratory techniques, such as in vitro cultivation. As a result, every year they register over a dozen new varieties in Europe that are characterized by exceptional quality and resistance to various climatic conditions. The company’s portfolio includes varieties grown in over 20 countries—from southern Europe all the way to its northernmost reaches.

On the Polish market, Hodowla Roślin Strzelce is the undisputed leader in winter wheat and oat breeding, as well as a major player in the cultivation of rapeseed, triticale, and field beans. A particular achievement of the company is its innovative varieties of winter rapeseed resistant to the TuYV virus, which meet the market’s highest expectations.

In addition to its breeding activities, the company operates a professional seed production facility on an industrial scale. Each year, approximately 15,000 metric tons of certified seeds are produced at four modern seed production facilities. Production is based on over 3,500 hectares of the company’s own crops and cooperation with experienced growers. Thanks to this, Hodowla Roślin Strzelce ensures the highest seed quality and guarantees varietal and species purity.
