Panel: "How artificial intelligence supports conventional crop protection".
January 14
Artificial Intelligence in Conventional Crop Protection at Agro-Premiere Direction Agriculture 5.0 promises to be an extremely innovative and inspiring event. The topics include the technological revolution that is changing the approach to crop protection, and artificial intelligence plays a key role in it.

Main topics of the panel:
Modern sprayers and precision agriculture
Individually controlled nozzles that can precisely apply different doses of spray solution depending on needs, which significantly reduces the use of plant protection products.
Use of application maps created based on satellite or drone monitoring.
Weed recognition and precision spraying
Cameras and AI algorithms enable weed identification, ensuring that spraying is performed only where necessary, which reduces herbicide use and environmental impact.
Crop threat analysis
AI supports the monitoring of pest and pathogen threats, helping farmers make better decisions regarding crop protection.
Optimization of spray rates and timing
Algorithms analyze weather conditions, soil moisture, and other factors to suggest optimal application rates and timing for crop protection products.
Reducing the Volume of Spray Liquid
Thanks to precise dosing, the era of transporting huge amounts of spray liquid to fields is coming to an end, which reduces costs and environmental impact.
