Agro Premiere 2025 Gold Medals: Winners of innovation and excellence in agriculture

January 23

The climatic and environmental challenges facing modern agriculture are reflected in the work of variety breeders and machine builders.

Agricultural entrepreneurs and farmers have access to varieties that are increasingly tolerant of changing climatic conditions, winter-hardy, and highly resistant to diseases. All of this is aimed at achieving a stable harvest with the highest possible yields.

As for machinery—it’s no longer just about power or working width. Thanks to advanced electronic systems and satellite connectivity, it is possible to perform full telemetry of operations, map fields, control traction, manage resources efficiently—and, above all, monitor efficiency and costs in real time.

These topics are the focus of the Agro-Premiery Event —an event unlike any other in Poland. It offers insights through countless panel discussions and networking opportunities, all set against the backdrop of cutting-edge Agriculture 4.0 and even 5.0 technology.

The products and solutions presented during the event meet the industry’s most cutting-edge requirements and, as a result, deserve recognition and distinction. The 12 products that will be on display in Poznań have also won the approval of the MTP Group Gold Medal competition jury. The medals, including awards for winning the industry polls “Gold Medal: Consumers’ Choice” as well as the special Grand Prix and Eco Prize awards, will be presented to the winners during the opening of Agro-Premier.

The chairman of the judging panel, Professor Grzegorz Skrzypczak, emphasizes: - In the “plant” category, awards were given to varieties of the most important agricultural and food crops—namely, winter wheat, winter triticale, winter rye, oats, and corn. Through their agricultural, economic, and nutritional characteristics, all of these varieties make a significant contribution to biological progress in our agriculture through breeding efforts.

One of the award-winning products is the “Fuzja” winter wheat from Poznańska Hodowla Roślin Sp. z o.o.

According to Natalia Maciejowska, Marketing Manager, - “Fuzja” is a high-quality variety with excellent market parameters, such as protein content, falling number, and gluten content. This is the result of advanced research and the dedication of our team, which is constantly working on solutions tailored to the needs of modern agriculture.

She also adds that participating in the event itself is an opportunity for the company to present the results of many years of research and breeding work to a wide audience of agricultural industry specialists. It also provides a space to exchange experiences, establish new business relationships, and draw inspiration from the ideas of other participants.

Professor Skrzypczak also highlights another winner of the Golden Medal award: - The judging panel awarded a very high rating for all performance traits—which stand out from other corn varieties—to SM Zadra corn from Małopolskie Hodowla Roślin Sp. z o.o. SM Zadra is an exceptionally high-yielding corn variety that, in COBORU’s 2022–2023 trials, achieved 107% fresh weight and 105.2% dry weight relative to the standard! According to the breeders of this product, it is a variety whose health and yield will amaze everyone.

The chairman of the competition jury also highlights the modern solutions featured in the award-winning products in the machinery and equipment category. These include, for example, products related to fertilizer management—H+ Live Chalk from FHP MKG PROMYK. In addition to nutrients, Honorata Soboń’s product supplies the soil with organic carbon and humic acids. Roman Sałdan, Sales Director at PROMYK, adds: - It is a natural mineral that, in addition to very rich deposits of lake chalk, contains humic acids and organic carbon. This composition results in effective deacidification, provides calcium as a plant nutrient, and improves soil structure by promoting the growth of organic matter.

In addition to the joy of receiving the award, he emphasizes the importance of the event itself—  For us, this is a very prestigious trade show that facilitates the exchange of solutions between manufacturers, distributors, and farmers. The fair attracts customers from Poland and many countries across Europe and the world. At this event, we have the opportunity to showcase our extensive product lineup; we hope to establish business contacts and enhance our company’s prestige

Among the winners was also the Baler Automation product—Automation of the VB 7100 Series Balers from KUHN-MASZYNY ROLNICZE Sp. z o.o. As Patrycja Miedzińska from the company emphasizes, - By launching the Baler Automation system, KUHN is taking another step toward autonomous machine operation. Thanks to this automated bale wrapping system, it is possible to increase the machine’s productivity, the quality of the harvested bales, and the operator’s comfort. The VB 7100 baler is the world’s first round baler to use the Section Control feature to start and stop the pick-up in a row.

Among the award-winning products was also the fully autonomous agricultural robot—the Farming GT from Farming Revolution GmbH—submitted by FARMSYSTEMS Sp. z o.o. Thanks to high-resolution cameras and artificial intelligence, FarmingGT recognizes both weeds and cultivated plants, ensuring 100% weed control both within rows and between rows. It removes weeds with impressive accuracy down to 5 mm, even in areas where weeds overlap with crops. The robot operates in all terrain conditions, regardless of field slope or soil type.

Bartłomiej Kądzielawa of Farmsystems Sp. z o.o. discusses not only the prestige associated with receiving the Farming GT award but also the benefits of participating in the event: - The MTP Group Gold Medal is a tremendous honor for us and a confirmation of the high quality of our products. It is a testament to our hard work and commitment to the development of modern agriculture, and participating in the Fair is an excellent opportunity to showcase our offerings and establish valuable business contacts. As a company in the precision agriculture industry, we are proud to present our innovative product line, which is designed to support modern technologies in agriculture.

All products and solutions for the agricultural industry recognized by the competition jury will be on display during a spectacular event dedicated to the agribusiness sector.
